Almost 100 km/h wind in Budapest, Lake Balaton “swayed” – VIDEO
The Hungarian Meteorological Service measured 95.4 km/h wind blows on Budapest’s János hill. Meanwhile, this number was 93.6 km/h on the Kab hill, in the South Bakony mountains, North of Lake Balaton.
According to 24.hu, windstorms struck Hungary yesterday. Only the Northern and Southern parts of the country remained untouched. The Hungarian Meteorological Service measured the highest speed in Budapest and near Lake Balaton, almost 100 km/h. In other regions of the country, the wind blows remained under 80 km/h.
Index.hu says that due to the windstorm,
Lake Balaton “swayed”.
The difference between the water level of the Northern and Southern shores reached 70 centimetres by morning. The maximum in this regard was 101 cm.
