Summer arrives in Hungary: beach weather at the weekend, heatwave next week

After a windy Saturday with showers, Sunday will bring bright sunshine, reaching 30 degrees. Next Thursday, temperatures could be as high as 35 degrees.

Variable, often windy weather is expected on Saturday. In the east, there will be many clouds, it may even rain. Elsewhere, clouds will be formed, which may be scattered, with a higher chance of showers and thunderstorms in the west and in the Northern Medium Mountains, Időkép reports.

It will be cool in the cloudier, rainier eastern and northeastern areas, with temperatures in the low 20s in some places and 23-28 degrees in the afternoon.

On Sunday, temperates will most likely reach 30 degrees Celsius. That is real beach weather!

On Sunday morning, clouds will move away from the east, with sunny spells expected throughout the country, and only a few brief showers in the northeast. Winds will decrease, with gusts in the central part of the country. The weather will be getting warmer, with highs between 25 and 30 degrees.

In addition, Időkép warns that between 10 AM and 4 PM on Sunday, there will be very strong UV radiation throughout the country. So be sure to protect your skin when you are outdoors. The best option is to use a 50 SPF sunscreen and drink lots of water!

Next week, the heatwave will arrive, according to the weather portal. Budapest foresees maximum temperatures of around 33 degrees Celsius next week, even 35 degrees Celsius on Thursday.
