PM Orbán: EU elections in June decisive in Europe’s history

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán visited Esztergom, northern Hungary, on the campaign trail for the June elections, his press chief said on Saturday. Orbán held talks with local mayor Ádám Hernádi and met voters, Bertalan Havasi said.

The prime minister said that June 9 this year would be a decisive day in the history of Europe. It will be a European election that future generations will remember as the election that decided the question of “war or peace”, he added.

On one side stands power and money and on the other the European people’s desire for peace, Orbán said, adding that June 9 will be perhaps the last opportunity to turn back on the road towards a third world war.

  1. These will be important elections, yes, but mainly symbolic. People in the West need to wake the frick up and vote their globalist-socialist puppets out of power in their NATIONAL elections. What’s the point of having a sensible E.U. “parliament” if the presidents, prime ministers, deep state, etc. are all working for Schwab, Soros, Gates, the U.N., etc.?!?

  2. Michael Steiner please explain what a “globalist-socialist puppet” is. A tax and spend government that interferes in the free market and expands state ownership in what should be private enterprise is what meets the definition of socialism. The Fidesz government has been deep in all of these. It has used arbitrary price controls on retail businesses interfering with the market place. It has used discriminatory taxation regulations to interfere with the market place. It has been purchasing private companies for no real benefit to the population. Why did it purchase Vodaphone Hungary? Well the result now is the disruption of internet service in the local area wherever Peter Magyar has a rally. Fidesz taxation of personal consumption is the highest in Europe with a 27% VAT – that is socialist. The socialist state in Hungary consumes 49.1% of Hungary’s GDP compared to 48% in “socialist Sweden”. People have nothing left in their pockets after Fidesz taxation and where does this money go? Hospitals, schools, railways, are all in crisis. Last week Gulyas Gergely said the government was not responsible for dealing with a pertussis outbreak. Meanwhile Fidesz gives you hyper nationalism. The Fidesz government is national socialist and it is the puppet of Russia and China. It is also “globalist” because it keeps saying that Hungary should not participate in “blocs” but embrace all countries regardless of what type of government they have.
