Mobile Phone Use Exceeds Landline Use Three and a Half Times
Budapest, August 11 (MTI) – The total length of mobile calls made in Hungary last year was three and a half times higher than the length of landline calls and the trend involving more mobile calls and fewer landline calls is expected to continue this year, business daily Napi Gazdasag said today.

The National Media and Infocommunications Authority (NMHH) told the paper that over 23 million minutes of telephone calls were registered last year, including 5.1 million minutes of landline calls and 18.3 million minutes of mobile calls.
Napi Gazdasag said the figures show that people spent a combined 44.5 years speaking on the telephone last year.
