Discover a hidden gem: Wizz Air relaunches flights to the Eastern European capital

Wizz Air has announced that it has resumed flights between Budapest and Chisinau, with the decision effective from April.

Chișinău, located on the banks of the Bîc River, is one of the region’s key centers and one of the greenest cities on the continent. The many forests, parks, zoos, and botanical gardens are too numerous to take the time to explore. Still, the architectural jewels, cathedrals, churches, and cultural events such as theatre and ballet performances make for a great program.

From April, travelers will be able to visit the capital of Moldova twice a week. This new flight is part of the more than 70 WIZZ flights available from Budapest this summer.

The Budapest Airport awaits the summer of records this year. Based on early calculations, traffic growth may reach 18% at the airport in 2024. The summer timetable began last weekend; details are HERE.
