ESSCA Budapest commemorates its 30th anniversary in Hungary
ESSCA, regarded as one of the best business schools in the world, launched a series of celebrations to commemorate its 30th anniversary in Budapest with an exclusive two-day event. The institution of higher education, which has been ranked in the Financial Times’ list among the best management courses worldwide, hosted a prestigious international evening for ambassadors accredited to Hungary, and then organized a lifestyle day on its campus in cooperation with the International Women’s Club (IWC). The series of events aligned with the values represented by the university: cultural diversity, a vibrant student life, sustainability and a healthy lifestyle.
The “Triple Crown” qualification is only awarded to the best in the profession
The excellence of the institution and the quality of education of ESSCA have been accredited by the three most prestigious accrediting organizations in the world, the American AACSB, the British AMBA and the European EQUIS. Worldwide, there are just over 110 business schools that have received recognition from all three bodies, i.e. which have achieved the ‘Triple Crown’ designation.
ESSCA, with a 114-year history, launched its series of events celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Budapest campus with two important events.

Peter Kraft, former Peruvian ambassador and professor of ESSCA, together with Dr. Zsuzsa Deli-Gray, the director of the Hungarian campus of ESSCA, welcomed the guests in his gallery located on Andrássy avenue.
“It is an honor that we could launch our series of celebrations to commemorate the 30 th anniversary of our school with the ambassadors accredited to Hungary” – said Dr. Zsuzsa Deli-Gray, Director of ESSCA Budapest. “Since our students come from many parts of the world, approximately from forty different countries, I think it is important that the ambassadors of the countries where our students come from also get to know more about our school and the activities related to its education, research and student life.”
With the Kraft Gallery exhibition, the ambassadors accredited to Hungary
received a glimpse into the world of the artists of the Impressionist School of Nagybánya, as well as – through the commentary of Károly Bugár-Mészáros – the history of the architecture of Andrássy avenue.
„This year I am celebrating 50 years of work experience. For me the most
important is to share my professional and life experience with the bright students of ESSCA, so they don't commit the same mistakes I have done, and hopefully benefit from my positive decisions. It is a great pleasure to teach at ESSCA as we have an outstanding community of leaders, professors and students.”- stated Peter Kraft former Peruvian ambassador and professor of ESSCA.
During the daytime continuation of the series of events, the focus was placed on a healthy and value-oriented lifestyle. A relaxing yoga session, a professional makeup and product demonstration by Marionnaud, and an exclusive jewelry exhibition and fashion show presented by ZEMA, the Hungarian Porcelain and Jewelry House of Outstanding National Value were also included in the meticulously assembled program catalog. In addition to students of ESSCA and representatives of the press, members of the International Women’s Club also took part in the event, which was held in Hungarian and English as well.
“As the only legally registered International Women’s Club in Budapest, established in 1981, the IWC plays a crucial role in promoting cultural understanding, social activities, and charitable work in the city. This event is an opportunity for the IWC members to learn more about ESSCA’s programs and history, and to build relationships with other like-minded individuals and organizations. Being a part of the ESSCA 30th anniversary celebration is a great honor for the Club and it can help the IWC members to network with the school and its alumni” – said Snezena Jerinkic, Chairwoman of the IWC.
