Exclusive interview with Johnny Depp in Budapest

Johnny Depp is undoubtedly one of the most talented American actors in Hollywood. Everyone is familiar with his name from the Pirates of the Caribbean films, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Edward Scissorhands and Cry-Baby. His name was all over the news worldwide as a result of a messy divorce from Amber Heard. Now, the actor talks about his recent drama, and how he sees his career. He also mentions why he chose to shoot his newest film in Hungary.

Messy divorce

Népszava conducted an interview with the world-famous celebrity, in which he revealed fascinating tidbits about his career and the messy high-profile divorce.  In addition, he talked about his upcoming project in Hungary. During the interview, Depp gave some cryptic answers. At one point, he went on explaining why he believes today’s world is so weird. He thinks that lying and concealing the truth from your loved ones has become an everyday occurrence. Depp said that his whole divorce scandal was the stupidest thing on Earth.

According to him, it started out as one person stating something untrue at the right moment for the press to take the story to the next level. So many people got invested in the drama. Depp thinks that he has to endure times like this. However, he felt tongue-tied, as it was hard for him to speak up. The media often tries to advertise celebrities and artists as products, however, they cannot relate to the person that the media created. Thus, it was challenging to speak his truth.
