Fidesz: Change needed in Brussels
European Commission president Ursula von der Leyen, according to Fidesz MEP Tamás Deutsch, “has again made shocking statements” on helping people from Tunisia, Morocco, Egypt, Bangladesh and Pakistan to reach Europe legally.
He noted events of the past week during which “a group of migrants broke down the door of peaceful locals in a small town in France and stabbed them to death” and how Dublin was “in flames after an Algerian migrant stabbed small children among others”.
Still, Brussels wanted to “send invitations to migrants” and ease their path to Europe, Deutsch said in a video statement on Wednesday.
“Change is needed in Brussels,” he said, appealing to citizens to respond to the government’s National Consultation questionnaire.
The Fidesz MEP said that while Hungary was “protecting Europe at its southern border”, with border guards “risking their lives”, Brussels was still determined “to force on us its disastrous migrant-embracing policy”.
“We must say ‘no’ to this yet again,” he said.

This attitude of thinking they know best, giving opinions on broadsheet matters, of the wrong doings and actions of the European Union, constant adaptation, that Hungary, we do no wrong, the taking of a high moral ground position, quite laughable, this replusive Orban Government “dogma”.
Orban, his Government, judged by the Court of Justice of the European Union, for ill-legal practices, of membership in the European Union, that carries vile luggage, in what they got found guilty off, which we to-day in Hungary, pay the price of NO funding,
The Orban Government, there appalling attitude, there constant criticism of the European Union, giving impression, that we Hungary, we are the good guys, we do no wrong not in the past, not in present time, this “veiled” image, the in-correctness of it, by the Orban Government, just adds nails upon nails into the casket of Hungary, it’s European Union membership.
The name Orban, as long as it remains on documentation required and “other” by the European Union, we Hungary, will receive no favours, no funding of substantiality, possible, put placed maybe, on a “drip feed” system of funding.

We all know what is expected of us in the National Consultation, don’t we?

And protecting the southern border – our brave border guards risking their lives to stop refugees surging through our country to reach other EU states, the risk no doubt increased by the release of over 1400 CONVICTED people smugglers… For political gain…

Blaming-the creation of Animosity: December Daily News · 20/11/2023 ·” Society Budapest has highest share of adults in brain business jobs in Europe In Budapest fully 23,9 percent of adults are employed in brain business jobs. No other of the 277 European regions has as high share of its adults employed in knowledge-intensive occupations. In the average European region 5,8 percent of adults work in brain business jobs. The share of knowledge-intensive workers in Budapest is 312% higher than the average European region. Another measure is high-value-creating jobs, which includes not only the most knowledge-intensive occupations, but also work in manufacturing industries and professional services. Fully 65,4 percent of adults in Budapest are employed in these jobs. This is again the highest share in all of Europe. In the average European region 31,2 percent of adults are employed in high-value-creating jobs”.
It is time for all to acknowledge that the genetic pool of Hungarians allows for the outperformance of most countries in the EU, especially the home country of Ursula von der Leyen. Therefore, it is logical to assume that policies made by a government with superior genetic pool is more beneficial to the world.
Why are Germans and Dutch buying houses and moving to Hungary? Why are Germans and Austrians determined to buy up all Hungarian agricultural products? The answers are easy.
Foreigners prefer enacted Hungarian laws and feel safer in Hungary than in their homeland. The Hungarian policy of keeping uneducated, many criminals, some terrorist illegal aliens out of the country is working. Not all civilizations can assimilate. No extremist Muslim beheaded priest, attack the Hungarian Jewish population or molested, raped women like in Cologne. However, Hungary allowed Ukrainians into Hungary, many just wish to travel west, and many stayed. Ukrainians are not alien to European culture; Ukranian people are law abiding and hardworking, definitely an asset to the developed countries.
Ursula’s immigration policy removes the responsibility of home countries to look after the population. If Ursula wants to be helpful, she should support the development of poor countries.
The conclusion is obvious, the Hungarian immigration policy works and better than EU’s open borders.
Hungary’s food supply is safe. Hungarian grain seeds are not soaked in chemicals. The long-term chemical effects on poor countries’ population will probably appear down the years. Can Ukraine guarantee that their chemically treated grain export is totally safe? Why are the % of allergies to wheat are rising?
It is every country’s duty is to protect its citizens, that incudes protection of food supply. Hungary made the right decision in this area.
These are only two examples of policies enacted in Hungary that make life of Hungarians easier. Logic dictates that smart people make smarter decisions. Therefore, the EU Parliament should follow Hungarian laws rather than those dreamed up by socialists to lower the standard of living in western Europe.
@mariavontheresa – they are coming here because Hungary is cheap.

Average is over 400k. However, this does not even get you an apartment in the big cities or the Randstad agglomeration.
Also, do the math for Germany:

You forgot to mention drinking water… Over a third of Hungarian municipalities grapple with poor drinking water quality, as outlined in a recent report by the Public Health Authority:
https://dailynewshungary.com/hungarys-drinking-water-is-dangerous-we-show-where-the-biggest-problems-are/
The “genetic pool” theory … Not touching that one!
Dear Norbert, why are the Germans and Dutch do not move to Bulgaria, Rumania, previous members of Yugoslavia. Those countries are even cheaper that Hungary?
Not everything is perfect in Hungary. If there is a problem, it will be solved.
Do you really believe that similar problems do not exist in western EU? Try to be realistic. People who are totally unhappy in Hungary can leave and move to socialist countries like Germany or Italy. Oh, by the way, there are problems in those countries.
@mariavortheresa – we just love to tout the “everyone is choosing to live here” narrative. Fact is, the Czech Republic and Slovakia are already popular retirement location (lots of old foreigners in the big cities…) Romania and to a lesser extent Bulgaria up and coming. Latter not Schengen yet, longer flights and less connections (also an issue for Bratislava – you quickly end up in Vienna). REALLY popular are Portugal, Spain, France and Italy, especially for those with a little more cash. More to select from, too, since the Brits left in droves to their island enjoy the end of freedom of movement.
Not quite sure about the “it will be solved” bit, but I certainly help you hope!
Re moving – please do not encourage people. I have had quite a few talented young Hungarians leave for Switzerland, the Netherlands, and Germany these past years. A decent offer and they are gone. Which is a pig since we paid for their education and I to a great extent trained them.
