Folk Dance Show In WestEnd City Center On This Weekend
During the upcoming weekend, on 10th and 11th of May, WestEnd City Center (Budapest) will be hosting a unique event called Hello Magyarország!
Hello Magyarország! will involve live performances of the folk dancers, choirs and musicians, who will present the best of the traditional Hungarian motifs. Hundreds of people from all across the country will join forces to bring the true essence of Hungary to the visitors of WestEnd. On the rooftop of the shopping mall dozens of booth houses will be built; each of them will represent different areas of Hungary and embodying characteristic traits of the settlements.
Between the live performances, all the visitors will get a wonderful opportunity to walk around the booths and see spectacular works of Hungarian craftsmen featuring art creations from both urban and rural masters.
In addition to the lineup of booth houses organizers took an initiative to set up some play zones for children, which will involve workshops and interactive games.
Step inside the Hello Magyarország! roof garden and you will find a real Conquest Age yurt. Exhibitors will also show masterpieces of the Hungarian smiths.
Don’t miss this unique opportunity to get acquainted with the centuries old Hungarian traditions and fascinating history of this wonderful country. And finally, the two-days program will end with a concert of the marvelous Hungarian folk band – Cimbaliband.

We went to Westend today, and went to the rooftop but found no stands. We asked inside the mall, but no one knew anything about it. There were posters in front of the lifts. Perhaps there is another part to the rooftop, but there were no indications inside the mall of any event of this kind.
