Four years old told to speak Romanian in hospital

The father of a four years old girl was attentioned to speak Romanian to her daughter in the emergency department of a hospital in Oradea.

The father and daughter were waiting in line for the little girl to be examined, and since the waiting line was long, the father was trying to calm the ill little girl, when a doctor rudely prompted them not to speak Hungarian, in Romania they should be speaking Romanian. “We are not in Hungary, speak Romanian” the shocked father quoted the doctor.

The father will denounce the doctor who gravely discriminated her daughter, breaching a professional conduct that presumes treating all patients the same say.
