Gas and oil prices are incredibly low in Hungary
According to hvg.hu, daily paper Népszabadság reported that Hungary has the second lowest gas and oil prices in the region.
The newspaper analysed the latest data found on the website of the Hungarian Automobile Club (Magyar Autóklub). According to their findings, the only country in the region which has lower prices than Hungary is Ukraine, and the fuel costs 20% higher in Romania that used to have the lowest prices for years.
Regarding the data of 36 European countries, Hungary is still in a favourable place, as it has the seventh lowest price in gas, and the eleventh in oil.
Népszabadság also wrote that according to the GKI Energy Research Ltd. the prices will mostly stay the same; gas prices may increase 1 or 2 HUF, therefore they are likely to be between 315-317 HUF, while oil prices will stay around 296-298 HUF.
