Hell Energy plans EUR 94.6m capacity expansion at NE Hungary base
Budapest, June 24 (MTI) – Energy drink maker Hell Energy will invest 30 billion forints (EUR 94.6m) at its base in Szikszo, in north-eastern Hungary, creating 320 jobs, Peter Szijjarto, the minister of foreign affairs and trade, said on Friday.
The government will support the investment with a 7 billion forint grant, Szijjártó said. The investment will quadruple capacity at the base to an annual 1.2 billion cans, he added.
Hell has become the fourth biggest brand on the global energy drink market, the minster noted.
Hell Energy Group has invested 21 billion forints in Hungary since 2011. Last year, its revenue rose by 70 percent and this year turnover is up by 50 percent.
