Hungarian fans outraged by Johnny Depp: they want their money!
Johnny Depp’s Hollywood Vampires concert was cancelled in July because of the Hollywood star, but the fans have not yet received the ticket price even though the 60-day-long deadline is long over. Therefore, many are outraged and blitz the ticket vendors with angry emails. Meanwhile, the legend is shooting now in Budapest.
As we wrote, the Hollywood Vampires (Johnny Depp, Alice Cooper and Joe Perry) would have performed in Budapest in July but cancelled the event. According to media information, they did so because Depp felt unwell and passed out before the concert. The Hungarian organisers hoped then that they could establish a new show later, but they could not. You may read our full article about the issue HERE.
However, the fans have not received the price of their tickets yet despite the 60-day-long deadline for refund. Some have run out of patience and started writing emails to the ticket sellers. In July, the fans were waiting for Depp, Alice Cooper and Joe Perry in the Papp László Budapest Sportaréna while the band was “smuggled out” from their hotel in total secrecy. The reason was that Depp’s sickness was probably caused by too much alcohol. Blikk wrote that fans clapped their eyes on the Hollywood legend in the July heatwave with alcohol in his hands.

Hungarian fans mad at Johnny Depp
The fans were disappointed in July, but that turned into rage by October. That is because the band will not do the concert at another time and they have not got their ticket price back. One of them, Györgyi, was outraged because Depp was shooting in Hungary even though his fans had not been compensated. That comes after Eventim’s relevant deadline expired last week, Blikk wrote.
Edina travelled home from abroad for the concert, which was cancelled, and she is still waiting for her money. She wrote an email to Eventim. They replied that they refunded the money, but Edina had not received a penny. Therefore, she wrote again but received no answer.
Linda paid for her ticket almost one year ago. “They have been using my money since last November”, she highlighted. The young woman sent the required documents concerning the refund days after the cancelled concert but got no reply. The sixty days passed and nothing happened. Afterwards, she wrote again to Eventim. The ticket vending company said her registry number was wrong, but Linda believes they lied because she did not make a mistake. Furthermore, Eventim said they would refund her ticket in 3-5 days, but she had not received any money either.
Blikk wrote to Eventim but received only an automatic reply stating that they would get an answer in 1-2 days.
