Hungarian Girl Wins Children Beauty Contest In Turkey

Maya Szilágyi is the winner of this year’s Model & Talent World Festival children beauty contest held in Antalya, Turkey.

One of the world’s most prestigious children beauty contest, the Festival Model & Talent World was held on April 21-28 in Antalya, Turkey. Forty-four contestants from 16 countries took part in the competition. Hungary was represented by three contestants: 9-year-old Maya Szilágyi, who won first place in the 9-year-old age group, 14-year-old Evelin Hajdú, who finished third in her age group and the 17-year-old Amanda, who came in second who also won a special prize.

One of the rules of the contest was that children couldn’t wear make-up.

I am very proud of the three girls, they performed beyond expectations,” said the national director of the World Festival Model & Talent Ildikó Bartalovics. The next children beauty contest will be held on June 25 to 29 in Hungary under the title “Little Miss Hungary”; the contest will be a qualifier for the next world’s children beauty pageant said the director.
