Hungarian restaurant prepares the world’s best pizza!

A Hungarian restaurant was awarded in a prestigious international competition for preparing the world’s best pizza.

According to turizmus.com, more than 600 pizza makers arrived at the Pizza Senza Frontiere – World Pizza Champion Games to Rimini in Italy. Participants of the 5-day-long championship competed in 17 categories. We can consider it a great success that the representative of the Forni di Napoli brand of Budapest, László Damu and his team won the award for making the world’s best pizza.

Forni di Napoli has two restaurants in the Hungarian capital. One is on Saint Stephen Boulevard, close to the Hungarian Parliament, the Margaret Bridge and Margaret Island, while the other is on Október 6 Street, near Saint Stephen’s Basilica. The trophy they won can be seen in their Boulevard restaurant. Turizmus.com added that the brand had acquired multiple international awards.

  1. This is almost meaningless. There is no such thing as “the world’s best pizza.” It’s all a marketing gimmick. There a a number of industry-related organizations that hold “championship” events, often in conjunction with an industry trade show, and at any given time there are numerous “world’s best pizzas” being touted. I’m not saying the pizza presented here isn’t good, but given the subjective nature of such a determination, there is no such a thing as a world’s best pizza. It’s whatever you think is best.
