Idyllic houses in Hungary for a family holiday
Tímea Kádár, Szállás másképp’s owner has collected a number of vacation spots that are perfect for a family holiday, are lesser known, and also more affordable, travelo.hu writes.
Ottó dedicated the Füzesi Papa Vendégháza in Harta to his grandfather. The house where Ottó also grew up was renovated in 2014, and his grandmother still resides there in a separate quarter and awaits the guests with lángos and scones. Visiting them is like visiting a grandmother; guests can even eat the fruits and vegetables from the garden.
The Solyomvár-lak in Komlóska is unique because there is no signal there: so, forget your phone. However, the owners, Renáta and Laci built a baby-friendly pension to fit their kids’ and the visiting children’s needs. Ideal for families who love animals: there are horses, baby goats, poultry, dogs and other animals, and all of them are comfortable around children. The garden is also open for visitors, and many castles are located nearby.
Mandalaház is a newly built house in Boldogkőváralja, and it’s made of excellent materials. There is a special log-wood playground, badminton sets, palls, sand pits, board games, colouring books, toy cars, and several other games, and the breakfast consists of locally grown ingredients.
Natura Hill house is a real environmentally friendly place for those who care about the environment. The house has a geothermic heating and cooling system, the recyclable waste is collected selectively, and they only use biogradable cleaning products. Every family will find a room that suits their needs as, for instance, there are differently equipped rooms for babies and little kids.
Every guest of the Patóhegyi Borházfalu may choose their own house which a kitchen, a living room, two bedrooms, a driveway and a terrace, and all the equipment needed for a baby are provided as well. The houses are surrounded by gardens and fields: ideal for families who love spending time outside. But the Aqua City Waterslide and Adventure Park in Zalaegerszeg is only a 30 minutes drive away, as well.
This Provence-styled Levendula house is close both to the River Tisza and Lake Tisza, and also to the recently renovated bath in Berekfürdő. If you don’t prefer to move great distances there are still great places to go, for instance, there is a beach right as we step out of the apartment with beach umbrellas and deckchairs. There are several playgrounds, and animators can also be hired.
The Nádas Inn in Tiszadob has 20 beds, and they offer cradle and smaller beds for children. Families can do all sorts of outer activities as the house is surrounded by a 700 acre green area. The Andrássy Castle is definitely worth a visit with it boxwood labyrinth, and there is an adventure park at the nearby Tiszalök, and also an excellent thermal bath in Tiszavasvár.
