Multiple Ultramarathon Winner Szilvia Lubics finished 4th in the world’s toughest foot race

Lubics is the second Hungarian woman who finished the 217-kilometer Badwater race – besides her it was Judit Pallos who completed the race in 2006.

Lubics finished the race in 36:09:12 hours.

The race won by Sandra Villines of US completing the 217-kilometers distance in 34:34:43 hours.

“Covering 135 miles (217km) non-stop from Death Valley to Mt. Whitney, CA, the STYR Labs Badwater® 135 is the most demanding and extreme running race offered anywhere on the planet. The start line is at Badwater, Death Valley, which marks the lowest elevation in North America at 280’ (85m) below sea level. The race finishes at Whitney Portal at 8,300’ (2530m).
