How about just get the planes in and out on time, make security as seamless and unobtrusive as possible, don’t lose our luggage, and make boarding and deboarding quick and efficient!?! Airports are being turned into kitschy, flashy, obnoxious in-your-face shopping malls, with the actual flights added on almost as an afterthought. It’s bad enough having to endure hours in small, uncomfortable seats, breathing in recycled air, with fat, smelly, and drunk humanoids all around you; surely there are better priorities for airports than opening up yet another outlet designed to get us to spend money on junk we don’t need. Sigh… Rant over.
