Hungarian investment volume exceeds last year’s record
Last year investment in Hungary exceeded the 2018 record by 350 billion forints (EUR 1.1bn) thanks to economic balance and flexibility, Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó said at an awards ceremony of the Hungarian Investment Promotion Agency (HIPA) late on Wednesday.
The figures demonstrate that both eastern and western investors had trust in the Hungarian economy and the country remained open to cooperation between east and west, he added.
