Barbara Palvin, a young Hungarian supermodel, is going to be one of the hosts of MTV’s European Music Awards – said the Hungarian Tourism Agency in a statement.
Because of the epidemic, in 2020, the MTV EMA will be online and the hosts of the awards show will be in Budapest and London. From the Hungarian capital Ms Palvin is going to be the presenter.
Alexandra Szentkirályi, a government spokeswoman, said that the Hungarian Tourism Agency applied to help Hungary become one of the hosts. As a result, the country can become more popular among the potential tourists when the season restarts next year. She added that Ms Palvin will
speak from an iconic Hungarian place.
The model said that she was very happy.
However, the spokeswoman did not tell how much public money they spent on winning the application.
