Hungary posts EUR 876 m trade surplus in March
Hungary posted a trade surplus in March of 876 million euros, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) confirmed in a second reading of data on Tuesday.
Exports grew an annual 22.7 percent, to 11.091 billion euros, while imports increased by 17.3 percent, to 10.215 billion.
In February, exports increased by 1.9 percent, while imports rose by 5.3 percent.
Trade with other European member states accounted for 77 percent of exports and 72 percent of imports.
