Orbán: European politics are full of ‘blah-blah’
European politics need people “who want something, who still have the energy, dedication and passion”, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán said after talks with Santiago Abascal, the leader of Spain’s Vox party, in Budapest on Friday.
While there is an increasing amount of “blah-blah” in European politics, statements repeated over and over again but followed by no action, Europe is increasingly losing its competetiveness, Orbán said.
Those who think along similar lines must work together; the cooperation between Hungary’s ruling Fidesz and Vox had been confirmed at the talks with Abascal, he added.
“We would like to see a right-wing turn in Europe, too,” he said.
Abascal reiterated the need for cooperation between those that fight for a much stronger Europe.
He said he deeply condemned the “persecution and blackmail” that Brussels employed against Hungary.
“Ideological discrimination is the real danger to European unity,” he said. It could also create a precedent because currently Hungary and Poland are in focus but Brussels bureaucrats could target any other country in the next moment, he added.
100%. Europe is a sad joke. It’s not just that they’re all career politicians engaged in what is called “managerial politics,” lacking in vigor and energy. They have no vision, no hope, no courage. It’s like they decided (or someone–wink wink–decided for them) that Europe must decline and they’re there to oversee it. The only time you ever see them get excited about something is when they want to impose the Leftist conformity narrative on those, such as Hungary, who dare to step out of line. When there is a chance to beat Hungary over the head over homo this and trans that, oh, you better believe they’ll find their raison d’etre! Sad.
That’s why our Politicians have instituted Rule by Decree since COVID! Takes care of all of the parliamentary blah blah. Much more effective – you can tell by our economic performance how well that is going.
And then, there’s the separation of powers… You know, where the three branches of government (executive, legislative, and judicial) are kept separate. Also known as the system of checks and balances, because each branch is given certain powers so as to check and balance the other branches. Each branch has separate powers, and generally not allowed to exercise the powers of the other branches. Overrated, perhaps? I believe it fulfills an important purpose in any democracy.
Hungary benchmarked against some other countries (spoiler: we’re outperformed by Romania and Ukraine)

Orban – “European Politics are full of ‘ Blah-Blah.’
Careful, Victor, millions of us growing in Hungary think you are ‘FULL of Wind.’
The odious after-math, of the “Winds” of Orban, certainly are clearing rooms, causing vibrant and robust discussions, caused through – the “Winds” of Orban.
Who knows could be heading to-wards a situation, that when Orban – he enters a room- people scatter or remove them-selves ///
The cry may come out of “to open the Windows and let in some fresh air.”
This could answer the recent earth tremors in this region of Europe, that the Winds of Orban, in the passing of his ‘blah-blah” – his disposition, that he continues to preach, the explosiveness, through his weight & size, that in the passing of the Winds of Orban – his Political & Economic Ideas & Philosophy, that should be “flushed” washed away to “other” places.

Returns to the blatant – the “Core” of Hungary’s cataclysmic problems, that through the Orban leadership, the course path he has set for Hungary, over 14 years, wielding his POWER, it SEPARATES it-self – VIOLENTLY away from DEMOCRACY.
Hungary – under Orban can’t be a DEMOCRACY.
If Orban – that’s if the citizens WANT it, if we WISH to remain a DEMOCRACY – Orban has to be removed or replaced – for Hungary to remain a member of the European Union.
Can Hungary cope with DEMOCRACY???
1989 to 2023 – had time to “taste” it – test it and see.
It’s giving every indication that DEMOCRACY will NOT remain – that Governs Hungary, but continue to revert back to1989 and prior GOVERNANCE under a Communistic Dictatorship regime format of Government.
T.S. Elliot wrote;
“Only by acceptance of the PAST, can you Alter it.”
1989 to 2023 – change to “core” fundamentals of DEMOCRACY – to HARD, back to the “old” ways.
Perilous for Hungary.
