Orbán in Washington: Hungary is a safe place for US conservatives!
Hungary has made itself a “safe place for conservatives”, the prime minister’s political director told a conference organised by the Heritage Foundation, in Washington, DC.
Balázs Orbán, the only foreign speaker at the Leadership Summit conference, talked about the achievements of Hungary’s family policy, noting that marriages in the country have doubled and divorces have halved. Abortions have also halved without any changes to legal regulations, he added.
As regards the debate on the perception of families, Orbán said “the father is a man and the mother a woman”, adding this was the end of the discussion in Hungary. The conference was also addressed by Heritage Foundation President Kevin Roberts and Republican Senator Josh Hawley of Missouri, among other members of the US Congress.

Like Florida is the blueprint for the other American states to follow, so Hungary is the blueprint for the Western countries to closely emulate. Instead, of course, they vilify Hungary and dream up a new method every single day to trip us up somehow.
All conservatives are welcome in Hungary. It is too bad that Hungary has to tolerate Dutch visitors who vote for socialist dictator Rutte.
Orban’s agenda is distraction and deflection from real issues that affect the lives of Hungarians. He distracts Hungarians by attacking the LGBTQ community as an easily targeted minority group and deflects Hungarian economic problems to the bogeyman of “Brussels.” Meanwhile thousands of Hungarians can’t feed themselves because his failed policies and endemic corruption have caused the highest inflation in Europe with food prices up 48%. Given enough time Hungarians will hopefully realize that they have been fooled by a master of deception. Hungarians however by that time may likely be faced with a leader who will not leave office no matter what the majority of Hungarians would like.
Question: now he has fewer obligations in the US, will Mr. Carlson now move to Hungary – his Promised Land?
