Supertrain from the US: Will the Budapest-Vienna travel time going to be few minutes? – VIDEO
The American high-tech research company Hyperloop Transportation Technologies (HTT) had reached an agreement with the government of Slovakia to build a local hyperloop system on Thursday, the forbes.com reports.
If all three governments make their agreement with HTT the Budapest-Bratislava-Vienna route will be the total distance, and the first section will be completed by 2020.
It now takes about two-and-a-half hours to get from Vienna to Budapest by train.
The Hyperloop Transportation Technologies is going to build a low pressure tube train which reaches a top speed of 1000 km/h with a yearly capacity of millions of passengers. Hyperloop train can cut journey times between distant cities from hours to minutes, which is an amazing possibility in the future.
According to forbes.com, more than 600 km track should cost around 16 billion dollars in the US.
