For the provision of individual support through the dailynewshungary.com website:
- Introductory provisions
1.1 The present General Terms and Conditions – hereinafter referred to as “T&C” – are applicable to DNH MEDIA GROUP Korlátolt Felelősségű Társaság (short name: DNH MEDIA GROUP Kft, registered office: 14/A Levente street, Csomád, 2161 Hungary, tax number: 32051634-2-13, company registration number: 13-09-222008, represented by: Alpár Kató, Managing Director) as the Beneficiary – hereinafter referred to as the “Beneficiary” – and the persons who, by clicking on the link on the interface provided for this purpose, provide financial support to the Beneficiary at the expense of their own assets (the Beneficiary and the Sponsor hereinafter jointly referred to as the “Parties”).
1.2 It is hereby stipulated that the long-term goal of the Beneficiary is to maintain and operate the news portals hellomagyar.hu and dailynewshungary.com. In the present case, it is important to emphasize that dailynewshungary.com is an internet portal whose primary purpose is to provide balanced, objective information on current public, political and social events and news.
1.3 It is hereby stipulated that the Beneficiary has created and maintains a dedicated website (https://dailynewshungary.com/support/) for the implementation of Community funding, which provides a framework for the operation of the forms of funding described in section 3.3.
1.4. The Parties agree that the Beneficiary is the maintainer of the Website and is fully responsible for its operation.
- Establishment of the contract
2.1. In order to conclude a grant agreement, the Sponsor must provide the Beneficiary with financial support from its own resources through one of the funding opportunities described on the Website.
2.2. By paying the grant, the Sponsor expresses to the Beneficiary, at their own discretion, their intention to support the Beneficiary at the expense of their own assets.
2.3. After entering the details on the Website, the general terms and conditions of the Grant as set out in this document will be available, and upon acceptance of these terms and conditions by the Sponsor, the individual grant contract between the Sponsor and the Beneficiary will be concluded without any further action, and the Beneficiary declares that they accept the grant with thanks.
- Subject matter and content of the contract
3.1. Objective of the aid
The Parties agree that the purpose of the Grant is to assist the operation of the Portal maintained by the Beneficiary.
3.2. The grant process, the establishment of the contract
3.2.1 In order to become a Sponsor and thus subject to this Agreement, the following steps must be taken: the Sponsor provides support through the payment methods described in section 3.2 and listed on the Website.
The Beneficiary may be awarded a grant of any amount.
3.2.2.2 In the event that the Sponsor wishes to support the Beneficiary again, they may do so by repeating the payment process.
3.2.3. Specific information about the granting of the aid will be provided by the Beneficiary upon request by e-mail to info@dailynewshungary.com
3.3. Payment method
3.3.1 The support can be provided by bank transfer, PayPal payment and credit card payment through the technical solutions provided by the PayPal service.
Grants cannot be paid in cash.
3.3.2. May be used for payment:
3.3.2.1. Bank transfer
In case of bank transfer, you can enter the following data: beneficiary is DNH MEDIA GROUP Kft., bank account number at OTP Bank: 11708001-22250557.
For international transfers, IBAN: HU62117080012225055700000000 (Swift code: OTPVHUHB)
3.3.2.2. Payment by credit card
You can use your Mastercard, Maestro, Visa, Electron or Amex credit card in the PayPal interface for secure and fast payment.
3.3.2.3. Payment from PayPal account
You can also transfer funds from your PayPal account, which is also fast and secure.
3.3.2.4. The aid may be paid by postal transfer (cash money voucher – postal cheque) or by any other service available at the post office.
- Use of the aid
At least once per calendar year, the Beneficiary shall inform the Sponsor in the Newsletter of the use made of the funds collected through the Website, which information shall be provided in a manner that meets the transparency requirements.
- Data management
The Parties stipulate that the acceptance of the T&C by the Beneficiary constitutes consent as defined in Article 5(1)(a) of Act CXII of 2011 on the Right to Informational Self-Determination and Freedom of Information, and the Beneficiary is entitled to handle data provided by the Beneficiary or otherwise obtained by the Beneficiary during the grant process, within the legal framework. It is noted that no data will be transferred in this context. The details of data processing are set out in the Data Processing Information Notice. The Beneficiary will not process any data related to the payment method of the grant (e.g. credit card number, bank account number, etc.).
- Termination of the contract
6.1 The contract shall terminate upon its performance.
6.2 The contracting parties declare that they may terminate or withdraw from this grant agreement or refuse to perform it only in the event of serious breach of contract by the other party.
6.3. Serious breach of contract shall be deemed to include, inter alia, misuse of the grant.
- Waiver of the right of reclaim
The contracting parties declare that the Sponsor expressly waives its right of recovery under civil law in respect of the grant, without conditions or limitations.
- For matters not covered by these T&C, the provisions of the Civil Code relating to gifts and the general rules shall apply.
- The Sponsor acknowledges that its support under this Agreement does not constitute a donation in the public interest.
