This Hungarian woman is keeping a pet owl – VIDEO

Have you ever dreamed of having a pet owl when you already have a bunch of cats? Well, this Hungarian woman thought it’s time to make her dream come true, and now she’s living with Sophie, who loves cats so much, that she sometimes behaves like an actual cat. Hvg.hu’s crew visited Annamária Breznai to find out how it’s possible, and what happens when you buy a pet owl.

Annamária Breznai has been dreaming about having an exotic animal as a pet for some time now, and after his son left home to study in Budapest, she decided to share her big house with several animals. First came the cats, then, after attending a pet exhibition, she was mesmerised by a little fluffy owl.

Sophie, the owl, has grown up among cats and she absolutely feels comfortable around people as well. Her behaviour sometimes does resemble to a cat’s.

Hvg.hu’s crew visited Annamária to learn more about the first woman in Hungary who has a pet owl, and to experience what it feels like to have this fluffy animal around.
