Many will not be pleased: Facebook’s paid service arrived in Hungary

The new version of Facebook, recently announced by Meta, has arrived in Hungary. You can now opt for an ad-free experience by paying.

Due to European Union regulations, Facebook and Instagram will offer paid versions, and this service is now available in Hungary.

If users want to enjoy an ad-free web interface, they can subscribe for EUR 10. Of course, users have the option to refrain from using this feature or change their preferences at any time, as reported by hvg.hu.

The mobile app comes at a slightly higher cost. However, due to the fees imposed by app stores, you can enjoy ad-free browsing on your phone for EUR 13.

The free version is still available, but it’s important to note that Meta will continue to utilise the data it collects for targeted advertising.
