Tesco Will Also Be Open on Sundays

In spite of the shop closings on Sunday, products of Tesco will be available, just another way. Because online trade is not prohibited by the government, Fn24.hu says.

The parliament approved the Law on the restriction of the Sunday opening in Tuesday. Most of the shops must be closed after 15 March 2015. The only baked goods and dairy products-selling shops can be open between 5 and 12 on Sundays and holidays, the newspapers and flower shops from 6 to 12, and shops in sports facilites just for the sporting events. The Act does not cover the opening of pharmacies, gas stations, airport shops and shops in bus and railway stations, the commercial activities of penal institutions, healthcare facilities and military objects, markets and fairs either.

According to Fn24.hu, the ban does not apply to services serving trade, commerce carried out at hotels, hospitality, shops located on the World Heritage areas, as well as cultural activities and spa services. It is also possible to pass government decrees for a partaicular settlement. As an exception, shops smaller than 200 sq can be open, but only the owner or his/her family member can work there.

However, there is no Sunday in online trade, and since Tesco has developed to the greates extent its online service, they could benefit the most of it. It is no coincidence that Auchan and Groby, the company which delivered home the firts in Hungary, but even CBA will continue to develop this business.
