VIDEO: Container carrier smashes cars at road leading to Budapest Airport
Fortunately, it does not happen everyday what a driver recorded and shared on the Budapesti Autósok website. The footage was recorded near Vecsés, at the beginning of the M4 motorway leading to the Budapest Airport.
The video shows a container carrier trying to turn at a crossroads, but the move resulted in a horrific accident. The carrier driver wanted to continue its journey towards the M4 motorway from Vecsés’s Market Central. But finally, something went wrong, and the bad weather and the constantly falling rain cannot be a viable explanation.
The cover of the road was wet and slippery for sure, but a small lorry could turn in the right direction and continue its journey. What happened next, nobody would have ever imagined. It bumps into the guardrail first, then turns 90 degrees, jumps over the traffic island separating the two 2X2 lanes and smashes 4-5 cars. It seems the driver could not use the brake during the manoeuvre, bpiautosok.hu wrote. Hungarian press did not report about casualties or injured people.
Here is the video. If you have a better explanation, please, send us via email or comment:
