Video contest: Celebrate Hungary on the world’s biggest display – the Burj Khalifa!

On the occasion of the Hungarian National Day, the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Budapest is launching a competition for a video to be screened at the Burj Khalifa on 15 March, the Hungarian National Day.
The UAE celebrates the national holidays of many countries in different ways. One of these is decorating its iconic buildings with the colours of the flag of the country being celebrated. The Hungarian national holiday of 15 March has already been celebrated twice in previous years (2021 and 2024) at the Burj Khalifa.
However, in 2025, in partnership with EMAAR, the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates is offering a unique opportunity to commemorate this Hungarian national holiday: they will project a creative video on the world’s tallest building and largest screen, the Burj Khalifa!
How will it work?
- Read and accept the rules in section 2 below.
- Fill in the details in section 3 and submit a video.
- A winning video will be selected by 7 March!
- A dedicated graphics team will then work with the applicant to fulfil the display requirements for the Burj.
- On 15 March, tune in to the live broadcasts of Burj Khalifa on social media and celebrate the Hungarian national day!
