Video: mass brawl on a Danube event ship in Budapest

Security guards and tourists brawled on board the Europa, Central Europe’s largest event ship, in the Hungarian capital. The video of the incident was uploaded to Reddit.

The security guards had a fight with several foreign tourists on the Europe event ship in Budapest, 24.hu reported. A video circulating on Reddit shows security guards working at Sziget Festival attacking several tourists. However, the incident did not happen at the festival. The video shows one of the security guards punching a tourist in the face, which is the start of the scuffle.

24.hu contacted the press department of the Budapest Police Headquarters (BRFK) about the case. According to the available information, an assault took place between some guests and a security guard on the boat moored in the Jégverem Street harbour and on the bridge connecting the boat to the quay at around 5:20 PM on 14 August.
