Video of the forced landing of Gripen

According to szeretlekmagyarorszag.hu, Major Sandor Kiss made a forced landing with the  failed Gripen of the Hungarian Army at the Kecskemet airport, then he ejected. He did the latter when the plane burst to the left. He chose the safer ejection in this situation – Index said.

Sandor Kiss was honored for his actions by Minister of Defence  Csaba Hende.

The accident was caused because Kadar couldn’t pull in the nose gear of the plane. He decided to keep the machine in the air until the running out of fuel and then he descends. The plane can be repaired, according to the first  testings.
