VIDEO: Trailer of the film about the life of famous Hungarian unveiled
A new trailer has been released for the most expensive film in Hungarian cinema history.
Now or Never! (Most vagy soha!) is a film about the life of Sándor Petőfi. In addition to Nándor Berettyán, who plays the title character, the trailer also features Sara Mosolygó, who plays Júlia Szendrey, Lajos Ottó Horváth, who plays the Austrian agent, and several other well-known actors, including Sándor Lukács as General Ignác Léderer, Béla Szerednyey as Lajos Landerer and Gábor Jászberényi as a certain Meyer.
The production, which will be released 201 years after the birth of Sándor Petőfi, was made with an exceptional grant of more than HUF 6 billion (HUF 4.7 billion in direct state funding and HUF 1.4 billion in tax relief) and reworked the events of 15 March 1848 with fictional elements, telex.hu reports.

The main conflict of the piece is also a fictional element, according to which an Austrian agent tries to sabotage the actions of the “youth of March”.
Balázs Lóth, director, and Philip Rákay, producer and screenwriter, admit that they were inspired by Guy Ritchie’s Sherlock Holmes films and the Peaky Blinders series, among others, when creating the style of the production.
Now or Never! is in cinemas from 14 March 2024.
