PM Orbán: we write the future, expressed his support towards Abascal while half-naked woman protested – VIDEO, UPDATED

“Yesterday we were heretics, today we are the mainstream,” Prime Minister Viktor Orbán said at a summit of the Patriots for Europe (PfE) grouping in Madrid on Saturday.
Patriots write the future, says Orbán
“Yesterday they said we were the past, but today everyone can see that we are the future,” Orbán said in his address to the two-day event. Orbán said the “Trump tornado” had changed the world in a just a few weeks. “We, Patriots are the ones writing the future in America, the Netherlands, Italy, Austria and Hungary”, he said, adding that “up next is Czechia”.
“We are many, we are big and we are strong,” Orbán said. The prime minister said Hungary today was “the laboratory of conservative politics”, and that his government had been “building the free, conservative and Christian Hungary for 15 years”.

“We’re the ones who protected ourselves from migration,” Orbán said, underlining that not a single illegal migrant was able to enter Europe through Hungary. “Illegal entry is a crime,” he said, adding that because there was “no compromise when it comes to migration, the number of migrants in Hungary is zero”.
The mother is a woman and the father a man
“We support our own Hungarian families instead of immigrants,” Orbán said. The prime minister also said his government has banned “gender propaganda” form schools, and has written it into the constitution that all state bodies are required to defend Christian culture and that the mother is a woman and the father a man.
Listing his government’s accomplishments, Orbán said they had eliminated unemployment, and the corporate tax rate was the lowest in Europe. “The globalist elite, of course, hates us because of this,” he said, adding that “the Brussels bureaucrats, the American Democrats and the Soros network have launched a manhunt against us”. “They’re hunting us because we defended our country.”
Orbán said the Spaniards should back Abascal
He noted that when Hungarians “turned against the progressive global elite” 15 years ago, such a move had been said to be “madness, impossible and political suicide”. “But we didn’t listen to that, we succeeded, and Hungary is living proof that it’s possible and that it can be done,” Orbán said. He said US President Donald Trump would also succeed, as would Spain if the people backed VOX leader Santiago Abascal, who also heads the Patriots for Europe.
Orbán blamed Brussels for Europe’s economic slowdown, for “our money” being given to Ukraine for “a hopeless war”, and for being the reason why Europe was being “flooded by migrants”.
Referring to the “Soros plan”, Orbán said the European “illegal migrant invasion” and “population replacement” were not conspiracy theories “but practice itself”. He said US billionaire George Soros had declared in 2015 that Europe needed to take in one million migrants a year, and the continent has seen 9 million illegal migrants enter over the last nine years.
“Santiago, I understand you and I’m with you”, said Orbán
“Today the progressive global elite is simply robbing Europe from the people,” Orbán said. He cited the myth of the god Jupiter disguising himself as a bull to seduce the princess Europa, adding that the people of Spain “know how to handle raging bulls”, and called Abascal “the bravest bullfighter in politics”. “Santiago, let’s tame this raging bull together,” Orbán said to Abascal.
Orbán began his speech by noting that he has served 19 years as prime minister and spent 16 years as the head of the opposition, and understood the path from opposition to government.
“And the name of this road is suffering,” he said. “The name of this road is pain.” Those who wanted to get into government had to serve their nation, he said. “Meanwhile, you are under a constant and brutal attack,” he said, adding that Abascal and VOX had “suffered enough” and it was time for them to get into power. “Santiago, I understand you and I’m with you.”
Turning to the relationship between Spain and Hungary, Orbán noted that in the 13th century the daughter of Hungary’s king married James I of Aragon, and the Hungarian guard that went with her fought in the Reconquista. He also noted that Spain was the first to support the Hungarian revolutionaries of 1956 in their anti-communist uprising.

UPDATE: Patriots summit in Madrid was ‘huge show of force’
Saturday’s summit in Madrid of the Patriots for Europe (PfE) group was “a huge demonstration of strength, a powerful parade of troops from a new European right”, from where thousands of participants sent a message of renewal to all parts of Europe, Csaba Dömötör, an MEP of Hungary’s ruling Fidesz, told public broadcaster Kossuth Rádió. Dömötör said the most frequently recurring word of the event was “Reconquista”, and this was no coincidence, because the patriotic community was made up of those who want to make Europe great again, to keep it “as we love it: the best place in the world”.
Dömötör said that for this strong border protection, recovering competitiveness, stronger family policy, less “ideological foolishness” and more honest words were needed. The MEP said this community represented normality, therefore it could count on even more support than it achieved last June, which was why its opponents were attacking it in every possible way using political means, but the patriots “cannot be silenced”. Asked if it could it have an impact on the European majority that the European press and domestic opposition bodies were labelling PfE as far-right, Dömötör said “patriotism can never be extreme”.
Dömötör said patriots had specific questions with specific suggestions but others “don’t react to this, they don’t say it shouldn’t be this way, that it should be the other way, they just throw back labels”, so this response was increasingly misguided. Asked if he saw any effort on the part of the European Union to take over the role of USAID in financing journalists, Dömötör said this was clear.
“This policy failed in the elections in America and it is certain that it will be ended, and therefore the biggest question now is whether they will succeed in installing these money taps in Brussels, whether they will succeed in getting European taxpayers to continue funding these activists,” he said. “If it will be up to us, it will not.”
