The last time they held government info was on 8 September. Gulyás announced then that the government would decide on the future of the fuel and food price caps at their next meeting.

This morning, the government shared a post saying that the energy supply of Hungary is secured. Everybody will have enough gas and electricity, they added.
According to Pénzcentrum, Gulyás may announce decisions on the following topics:

- Postponing the autumn break in public and higher education. The idea is not new. Some members of the government lamented on such an option before. The advantage of prolonging winter break would be to save a lot of money on heating.
- Food price caps. Before, Gulyás said that the government would decide on the issue before the deadline, 1 October. Márton Nagy, the minister for economic development, said before that the food price caps were not sustainable in the long run.
