What will PM Orban say? – European Commission urges rapid disembarkation of rescued migrants in the Mediterranean
The European Commission on Monday called on member states of the European Union (EU) to help affected costal member states rapidly disembark any migrants rescued in the Mediterranean Sea, to ensure their safety and the safety of the vessels’ crew.
Commission spokesman Adalbert Jahnz appealed to member states to “urgently cooperate in the spirit of solidarity and collective responsibility for the management of migration in Europe.”
He was answering journalists’ questions about the situation in the Mediterranean Sea where
more than 400 migrants, including several women and children, are stranded at sea
aboard vessels operated by non-governmental organisations (NGOs) while running short of space and supplies.
Rescue ship Louise Michel was reported to be unable to move after being overwhelmed with more than 200 people aboard. The boat had carried out three separate rescues within its first week of operation.
The Sea-Watch 4, a migrant rescue vessel operated by a German NGO that is carrying another 200 migrants, also carried out three sea rescues last week. “The European Commission is closely following the situation in the central Mediterranean. Coastal member states have essential responsibilities but they should not face them alone, including with regard to hosting of rescued migrants.
There are also additional risks due to the COVID-19 pandemic,” the spokesman said.
He said that the Commission was in close contact with member states and was trying to find solutions by, among others, facilitating the relocation once the migrants are disembarked. Enditem

I think you people have a serious problem. We did not invite these so called refugees etc and we certainly do not want them. I do not give a flying cracker about them. Let them drown at sea. No illegal immigration and no refugees EVER!
About time the silent majority got to say what will and will not happen and not the loud mouthed liberal jerks.
We need to stop people like SOROS etc from affecting our nation. If you think this is inhumane then ask yourself whether they would let us into their countries? Hmmm? Now who would wan to anyway but you get the point. If they can not fix their problems in their own shitty little nations guess what a mess they will make here.
So totally fed up of all the bleeding heart liberal crap.
NGO’s with their blatant disregard for laws set by individual nations or the sovereignty of a country, are proof that they are neither noble or altruistic. Their entire organization is political. Countries tied to agreements made years and years ago by government officials suffering from guilt for immigration issues during and after WWII, are now coming home to roost. Nations of the west have their boots on their own necks by their subjugation to organizations who have become a self serving, ruling government serving itself. NGO’s and the less than useless UN being allowed to “rule” over entire nations is leading to worldwide disaster.
