October 30

Halloween in Tündérkert

This event looks like it is worth checking out. From 9 am, a play park and confectionery sale await visitors. From 10 am, you can get your professional Halloween photos taken. You have to register for this one, though. Read the email address on the event’s Facebook page. Also from 10, you can carve pumpkins, get your face painted or allow your kid to get their face painted. From 5 pm, a kid’s concert will take place to entertain the little ones – and, of course, those who like to feel like a kid again.

The event, however, does not end there. On 31 October, at 16.45, people can gather at the venue and go on a walk around Heroes’ Square. At 8 pm, a fire juggle show will amaze the audience in Tündérkert.

Indoor Budapest MiniGolf

From 7 to 11 pm, a true horror Halloween experience is awaiting the public. Make sure to buy your ticket in advance!

A horror room with scary mini-golf fields, competitions, UV face paint, phosphorescent cocktails in the dark, great music, a raffle, and a Halloween menu will be available for sure. The menu will be panini/French hot dog/ nachos and UV ghost cookies. You can add a cocktail or soda as well. The event takes place on October 31.

Día de Muertos: Tereza Carnival!

If you like to really dress up for Halloween, this is your time to shine. Put some effort into having the best costume, get your welcome shot of margarita, and try to win the prize for the best outfit. If mysterious South American and Latin American beats do not sound compelling enough for you to participate, think about getting the best Halloween makeup ever. Kutya egy Halloween

This event’s name does not have an accurate equivalent in English, but I promise it sounds good. The event is for people of all ages. Starting at 1 pm, kids can enjoy Halloween. They can meet antagonists from tales, drink “evil” soda, ask questions from a fortune teller, design a new Halloween style, carve pumpkins with a crazy scientist who came from space, eat candy, and win lots and lots of more candy. Sounds good, does it not?

From 18.15, adults can have some fun at Horror Halloween. Horror characters, more drinks, more cookies, and winning drinks will be on the menu. And I have not told you the best part yet: you can bring your dogs, too.

Halloween & beer premiere at First Taproom

A costume competition, pumpkin carving, aperitifs, surprise first beer premiere, and freshly baked delicacies. Sounds like good advertising for the event. Halloween Bike Ride – Budapest Edition Vol. 4

The traditional Ghostride will be held for the fourth year this year. The meeting will be at Madách Imre Square, at 6 pm sharp. If you want to enter the costume competition, the fee is a bar of chocolate. The winner takes it all!  Now to answer your burning questions: yes, there is an after-party.

Halloween Day at Budapest Garden

All ages will find something fun at this event. A puppet theatre, pumpkin carving, firefighter programs for kids, and many entertaining things await visitors. Tűzoltó Park will host events as well.

Stranger Synths: Halloween by Quixotic – Analog Music Hall

“Meet Hopper and Eleven! A special retro party inspired by the Netflix hit series Stranger Things. Be Massive Horizon Halloween party Marriott Liz & Chain Sky Lounge

Undoubtedly, this could be a fancy event. An amazing panoramic view can be seen from floor 9 of the Marriott Hotel. Seeing the entire bank of the Danube in Buda from Gellért Hill to Buda Castle, admiring the length of the Danube, the bridges, the two-sided view of the centre of Pest, the Parliament, and the Basilica are for sure a sight worth seeing. Halloween Midnight Secret Screening (Bem Cinema)

“Secret surprise screening Halloween at midnight: as usual, we don’t tell you what the movie will be, but we don’t even give tips or even answer questions about it, sorry! Of course, the date is not accidental, so there is a good chance that Snow White or Bambi will not be on offer. So, a one-time secret screening for those who are curious, adventurous, engaging, but definitely over the age of eighteen! In English, with Hungarian subtitles,” – says the Facebook event’s description.
