At the portal’s inquiry, the embassy said it had introduced guidelines to archive certain content so that its website should fully reflect the policies of the Trump administration. The portal also quoted Bryan E Leib, who will possibly follow Pressman in the post, as saying that the embassy had removed his predecessor’s remarks, which he labelled as toxic.

Trump’s ICC sanctions ‘totally understandable’, says FM Szijjártó

The decision by President Donald Trump to impose sanctions on the International Criminal Court “is totally understandable”, Péter Szijjártó, the foreign minister, said in a Facebook post on Friday. Szijjártó said the ICC had turned into a “biased political tool” that had “discredited the entire international court system”, and the court had “contributed to increasing uncertainty in parts of the world that are already in a difficult situation”. He added that Hungary was in the process of reassessing its cooperation with the court.
