5 supercheap but mesmerizing destinations from Budapest by plane

Here are five astonishing destinations from Budapest Airport for less than EUR 10 by okosutas.hu, a Hungarian travel news media outlet.

Even though inflation made plane ticket prices increase considerably in the last few years, there are still favourable offers from Budapest Airport to mesmerising destinations. According to okosutas.hu, their list is based on subjective factors. Furthermore, the prices below are available for Wizz Discount Club members, while Ryanair’s starting price is EUR 15-17  from Budapest.

1. Milan

Competition results in cheaper prices, and the Budapest-Milan flight is a perfect example. When Ryanair appeared on the route, Wizz Air went below EUR 10. Moreover, such cheap flights are available in spring and summer alike. The airport hub of Milan is a perfect choice to continue your journey anywhere in Europe or the world.

2. Stockholm

Wizz Air and Ryanair are also present on this route, and they both moved their target airport from Nyköping (Skavsta) to the main airport, Arlanda. Since there are many flights, prices must remain low. Thus, you can find some tickets for EUR 10 each month. The last one is currently for 1 June. EUR 15-20 tickets are much more common.

3. London

You can travel to Luton for EUR 10 and Gatwick for EUR 15 in May. Afterwards, plane tickets get more expensive. The lowest price is EUR 15-20. If you travel from Vienna to Gatwick, you may also bump into EUR 10 tickets.

4. Tirana (Albania)

Albania is worth a try, okosutas.hu believes. Prices fell after Ryanair announced they would launch flights from Budapest to the Albanian capital like Wizz Air.

5. Rome

You may book tickets for only EUR 10 for travels between May and August, and there will be more in the summer, okosutas.hu wrote.

30 destinations available in the EUR 15-20 category

In the EUR 15-20 price category, there are many more available flights to more than 30 destinations. Prices are low even for flights in early June. A jump is in mid-June, and summer flights are expensive. In the next few weeks, okosutas.hu expects a price decrease in that category, too.
