Városliget cafe and restaurant

The restaurant is situated inside a neo-Baroque building that also houses the City Park ice skating rink. From here you have a view of the Vajdahunyad castle, as well as the boats and kayaks on the lake. The live music, friendly service and a menu with both traditional Hungarian dishes and our favorite foods from other cuisines will make for an unforgettable evening.
River cruises on the Danube
Getting on a boat in Budapest is just as enjoyable during the day as it is on the evenings. You can take a look at Budapest’s lit up iconic landmarks from the MAHART cruise ship. You will get a welcome drink and an all-you-can-eat buffet with live music courtesy of the Beatangok band. Until the 22nd of September, the cruise ship is available Tuesday through Saturday, between the 28th of September and 27th of October only on Fridays and Saturdays, while between the 3rd of November and the 22nd of December you could go for a cruise ride only on Saturdays from 7 pm.

Elysée bistro and cafe

If you are taking a stroll around the Parliament at dinner time, we have good news for you. You do not have to go far to find a nice restaurant with some awesome views. The Elysée is not an everyday French bistro; it also serves as a museum with historical documents and photographs about the building. There are both traditional Hungarian dishes and French bistro foods on the menu. They are open from early morning until late at night, and on Fridays, you can even listen to some live swing and jazz music.
Gozsdu Sky Bar

Above the always bustling Gozsdu yard is the Gozsdu Sky Bazar with a wonderful terrace where you can see a panorama view that is probably the best in the city. When you exit the 6th level of the parking garage on Holló street, you will see the top of The Citadel, the dome of the St. Stephen’s Basilica, as well as the rooftops of the surrounding houses. After you have seen everything you wanted, you could try a quesadilla, a light salad or a pizza, drink some cocktails or watch the sunset.
