Youth World Champion Kayaker Richárd Janza killed in a rear-end collision

According to information obtained by borsonline.hu, Kayaker Richárd Janza was one of the victims of a Szentendre road car accident in which two people killed last night. Janza’s vehicle was rear-ended by another passenger car as he was waiting at a red light. Both the driver and the passenger of the stationary car were killed on the spot.

The crash sent the guilty driver flying through the windshield but he survived the collision; he was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

According to borsonline.hu, the guilty driver took part in an illegal car race.

Police questioned the seriously injured driver in hospital and took him into custody.
