Snow causes traffic problems in western Hungary – Photo Gallery
Budapest (MTI) – Heavy snow and strong winds during the weekend have made traffic difficult in several areas of western Hungary, road manager Magyar Kozut told MTI.
Snow drifts have blocked roads in Komarom-Esztergom, Zala, Tolna, and Somogy counties, the road manager said.
A speed limit of 110km/h has been introduced for cars along the M7 motorway due to storm-force winds.
No residential areas, however, have been isolated by the snow, Magyar Közút said.
An alert has been issued for nearly the entire Transdanubia, as further snow and strong winds have been forecast for today.
