Government adopts programme to renew Hungary’s castles
Budapest, June 30 (MTI) – The government has adopted a National Castles Programme, under which 31 historic castles will be fully or partially restored in the next few years, state secretary Laszlo L Simon announced on Tuesday.
The programme will use a budget of 25 billion forints (EUR 79m).
The comprehensive scheme will focus on a neglected part of Hungary’s monuments, the state secretary said.
