Police use tear gas to break up fight in South Hungary refugee camp
Budapest, August 30 (MTI) – Police used tear gas to break up a fight involving around 70 migrants at a reception centre in Kiskunhalas in southern Hungary on Sunday, the spokesman of the Bacs-Kiskun County police headquarters said.
The fight was started because one group of migrants complained about slow administration involving taking fingerprints and a stone was thrown at a group of people as they were leaving, said Zoltan Hurkecz in a statement.
Nobody was injured and police quickly restored order, but they did call for backup.
