Group of migrants heads back from Serbian border to Kanjiza by bus – PHOTOS
Budapest, September 15 (MTI) – A group of migrants has boarded a bus on the Serbian side of the Roszke border station and headed back to the Serbian town of Kanjiza (Magyarkanizsa), public news channel M1’s correspondent reported on Tuesday afternoon.
The correspondent said some migrants are still hopeful that the Hungary-Serbia border will be reopened, but those who are not will most likely set off toward Croatia.
MTI’s correspondent reported that some 3,000 migrants had waited in no-man’s land in the afternoon banging on a metal barrier blocking the main motorway leading into Hungary chanting “Open! Open!” and “Germany! Germany!”
