Orban holds talks with Croatian president in NY
Budapest, September 30 (MTI) – Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban held talks with Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic at the UN headquarters in New York City on Wednesday, Orban’s press chief told MTI.
They discussed open and problematic issues in Hungarian-Croatian ties, Bertalan Havasi said.
The sides agreed that it was in the interest of both countries that bilateral relations built on solid foundations in history should be maintained, despite current disputes, said.
The Hungarian prime minister is in New York to attend the UN General Assembly meeting.
