According to the data of the investigation, the man took young women from Hungary to Germany and Switzerland from August 2017 until May 2018 when he was caught. He trafficked them as prostitutes to said countries and took a huge amount of the money they made.
The Investigation Bureau’s employees took the man into custody on May 2, 2018, in his Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén home, with the assistance of the Counter Terrorism Unit, they then made a request for his arrest, which the competent court ordered.
The investigation — which included a broad, international data acquisition and questioning witnesses — was completed by the Investigation Bureau on June 7, 2018. They have sent the case’s files — against the accused who is still in custody — to the Main Prosecution of Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County, with an indictment proposal.
