This weekend: Cake and Torte Festival at Millenáris
The 21st and 22nd of November are the days of the second Cake and Torte Festival at Millenáris, Building D. The topic of this year’s festival is CIRCUS. The torte design competition is based on this topic. Visitors will get the chance to see the most beautiful creations of the competition.
The best Hungarian confectioneries will be at the festival with their specialities. Besides traditional desserts, visitors can try out cupcakes, tartelettes, brownies, cake pops, macarons and amazing design tortes. Isn’t this an enticing list of delicious desserts?
There’s going to be programmes like torte decorating competition, sugar lace, caramel decoration, macaron and bonbon exhibition and paper torte making workshop for children. Some of the workshops will be based on the CIRCUS topic of the festival.
Famous Hungarian and international confectioners and gastro bloggers will share their secrets with the visitors.
The organisers wanted to create a festival that focuses on the sweet side of life. At last year’s festival, there were more than 40 confectioneries present from traditional ones to ones representing the new wave trends. This is a great chance to taste special treats and get to know some secrets about your favourite desserts.
Check out the festival this Saturday and Sunday!
