The Open-air Theatre will organize a new cultural winter festival in Városháza park

A new cultural winter festival will be organized during the first weekend of Advent in Városháza park, with the aim of initiating a tradition. This family event will satisfy an unfilled need, addressing mainly the citizens of Budapest, providing novel cultural programmes emerging from the plenty Christmas fairs.

The Advent in Budapest program series, organized between November 29th – December 24th, 2013, in Városháza park, creates a public scene in the heart of Budapest, where the citizens of Budapest and the visitors may spend this festive period in a familiar mood.

Also a 10-meter diameter Advent wreath will be placed, the candles of which will be ceremoniously lightened on all four Advent weekends.
