According to the calculations of the experts, the chance that the recent years’ global heat records are mainly the consequences of the natural change of climate is only 0.01%, femina.hu wrote.
The Guardian quoted Stefan Rahmstorf, professor of the Potsdam climate research institute, who did the analysis. According to him, the fact that 13 years of the 15 hottest years in the last 150 years occurred between 2000 and 2014 would not have happened without global warming caused by human activity.
While the authors responsible for the analysis published their work in the Scientific Report they did not know that the US National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) declared 2015 the hottest year of all times.
The British Met Office doubts that the situation would improve, in fact: additional heat records are expected in 2016, femina.hu told.
Rahmstorf and his colleagues compared actual weather observations and the comprehensive computer simulation of climate. It enabled them to isolate the natural climate variability from man-made climate change in a more distinct way.
In 2013, the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) found that it is 95% certain that men are the main cause for global warming.
Femina.hu wrote that the staff of Alt Pireneu National Park in northeastern Spain experienced an unusual phenomenon. They saw a mother bear and three cubs searching for food in the mountains. That means that they did not hibernate.
According to biologist Santiago Palazón, bears remained awake because now they can easily find food in this part of the year as well.
